These Continental ContiAttack SM2 tyres took everything we threw at them on road and track.

Even though we didn’t have the chance to try them in cold or proper wet conditions, on the road the SM 2s are sublime. With a fleet of Husqvarna 701 Supermotos (with the odd KTM thrown in for good measure), some Austrian roads and over 180km of riding, at no point was there a lack of grip or feedback, nor any noticeable issues in terms of stability and noise. Fazit: Der neue Supermoto Reifen von Continental Unsere Zeit mit dem ContiAttack SM 2 einen Test zu nennen, wäre falsch. Bei perfekten Bedingungen und rennstreckenähnlichem Asphalt, konnte die Trocken-Performance zweifelsohne überzeugen. Der Reifen pickt am Asphalt! Wir fuhren den Reifen aber nur über vier Tage, bevor Reifen und Bikes wieder zurück zu ihren rechtmäßigen Besitzern - also den Händlern und Importeuren - mussten. Aussagen bezüglich der um rund 30 Prozent gesteigerten Laufleistung und der besseren Nassperformance können wir also nicht treffen. Dazu bräuchte es einen Dauertest, um den wahrscheinlich in der 1000PS Redaktion gekämpft werden würde. Denn der ContiAttack SM 2 hat uns gezeigt, dass Supermotos die ärgsten Funbikes sind - wenn sie auf dem richtigen Reifen stehen. zum Bericht >>
